Jeremy Latimore today put pen to paper on a deal that will see him at the club until the end of 2017.
The dependable prop has enjoyed the rejuvenation his career has seen since his move to Penrith three seasons back. In 2014 he was by far and away the most dependable and consistent bench forward in the game and he's been rewarded justly in 2015 with opportunities in the starting pack on several occassions.
Latimore has made more runs (395), metres (3256m) and offloads (41) than any other Penrith forward over the past two years.
It's been no surprise that Latimore has made the most of this opportunity and a bumper 2015 season to date has even seen his name come up in contention for a spot of the NSW bench for State of Origin one.
The NRL season is a long one, but Jeremy Latimore is always a name you can count on to take an extra hit up or make an extra tackle when it's needed the most.
Should Latimore be picked on the bench for the Blues in the series opener?
