Young prop Reagan Campbell-Gillard had his breakout NRL season in 2015, making his representative debut and playing every one of Penrith’s 24 matches for the season.
PLAYER RATING: 7.5/10
The Panthers have developed a number of promising young front row forward in the last half decade but Campbell-Gillard is the most promising.
His reliability over an entire season was well beyond his years and physique and a starting partnership formed with Sam McKendry has cemented itself as the norm for the coming 2016 campaign.
Reward for his form was a maiden top grade representative cap in the NSW City Origin side. In this arena too Campbell-Gillard was exemplary and only age and an already established NSW front row rotation kept him out of an extended Origin squad.
The future is bright for RCG. He has the potential to be a future leader at the club and a long representative career awaits if his development continues on its current trajectory.
