Jamie Soward's NRL future will likely be decided on Thursday, with the former State of Origin playmaker's manager set to meet with Penrith officials.

As reports emerge suggesting Soward had told Panthers teammates he had played his last NRL match ahead of a move to England, the club's general manager Phil Gould said nothing had been decided.

"Nothing confirmed as yet," Gould tweeted.

"I have a pre-arranged meeting with his manager tomorrow to discuss his future."

Soward, who has played 215 NRL matches and won a premiership with St George Illawarra in 2010, is contracted until the end of next year at the club.

However the former NSW Origin representative was dropped from Penrith's first grade team earlier this month and has spent the last three weeks in reserves.

The five-eighth didn't train with Penrith on Wednesday and has been linked with English second-tier club London Broncos, who he played with for half a season after leaving the Dragons in 2013.
