Penrith forward Chris Grevsmuhl is a chance of returning from an elbow injury to be a late inclusion in Friday's NRL clash against the Wests Tigers.

Grevsmuhl missed Sunday's win over Newcastle after hurting his elbow against the Sydney Roosters the previous week, however he could force his way into the team to take on the Tigers.

His return would be a huge boost for a Panthers side who need to win on Friday to consolidate their spot in the top eight with just two more-regular season games to follow.
